KAYDEE disposable skin stapler

Disposable skin stapler is used to closure the skin for a patient in surgical  operation in hospital.

The use of skin stapler has found a permanent niche in medicine today.Staplers have been found to be 2X faster than the use of sutures in the repair of traumatic skin wounds and produces similiar cosmetic results.

Additionally,far less lidocaine is needed when using staples.The time and cost savings of using an automatic stapling device versus standard sutures in undeniable. Here are a few examples of the skin staplers available today.

Direction for use:

1.Evert and approximate skin edges.

2.Position stapler over center of everted skin edges.Close by squeezing trigger fully until motion is halted.

3.Release trigger fully to achieve staples release.

2.This device is provided sterile for single-use only.Do not use if package is opened or damaged.Do not re-sterilize.Discard after use.

3.Always ensure trigger is fully closed and released to properly feed the next staple into position.

Staple Dimesions:

KAYDEE disposable skin stapler line has two different size staples:regular and side.

In the closed position,the regular staple has a width/crown of 5.4mm and leg length of 3.6mm;

the wide staple has a width/crown of 7.0mm and leg length of 4.0mm.

Wide stapler contains stainless steel staples of 0.6mm and 0.55mm diameter wire.
